Results 2009 The 2009 BBB River Swim was swum in almost perfect conditions with beautiful sunshine, a light breeze and very little tidal movement. There were 92 entrants in this year's swim. A family of dolphins once again joined us on the course. The 1600m swim was won by Michael Cook in a time of 22min 46sec. First female was Rhonda Maloney in a time of 26min 36sec. First over the line in the 5km event was Eric Watson in a time of 55min 45sec. 14 year old Gemma Smith was first female in the 5km event in a time of 64min 36sec.
